WINERY TOUR & TASTING

In Dianella’s cellars, the contemporary operative reality interfaces with that of the ancient cellars, transformed in an interesting museum.

The guided visit winds through the different areas of the production and the storage: from the ancient wine cellars with the oak barrels to the underground cellar with the traditional cement tanks; from the “vinsantaia” (the area used to store the “vinsanto”) to the “orciaia” (used in the past to store olive oil), to the aging zone and the current wine-making cellar.

Along the path, ancient machineries and wine-making tools no longer in use witness the history of older methods of bottling, filtering, labelling and plugging up. Each object has a story to tell and our guide will be pleased to narrate it. At the end of the tour guests will taste Dianella wines.

COOKING COURSES

The cooking class is a very fun and creative activity to discover the culture and the way of cooking in Tuscany by preparing traditional dishes in an informal and familiar atmosphere. It begins in the vegetable garden with the collection of seasonal ingredients and lasts for about 3 hours.

Students will be provided with aprons, chef hats, utensils and tools necessary to cook and through the chef’s instructions they will prepare a full meal, from appetizers to the dessert which, once ready, will eventually be tasted in combination with Dianella’s wines.

BIKE TOUR

For bicycle lovers, we offer the opportunity to explore Tuscan hills through two bike tours you can choose between, both suitable for people used to physical activity. The discovery of unknown and uncontaminated corners of the territory, far from the crowds of tourists, will give you the chance to capture and enjoy the truest character of our territory, the truest soul of Tuscan villages.

The first one is a guided tour along the ancient Romea Strata, towards the Montalbano mountain range, where the Genius of Leonardo spent the first years of his life. Thanks to this experience, you will discover the small hidden treasures of the territories around Vinci, immersing yourself in expanses of olive groves and vineyards.

The second tour takes place in between Fucecchio and Ponte Buggianese, through the Fucecchio Marshes, the largest wetland in Europe, where you will find the perfect combination of history, flora and fauna.
